Summer Road Trip: Blueberry Fields Forever

When our friends Anja and Chris suggested blueberry picking as a Portland-esque adventure, I knew that was one for us. Riley is the biggest blueberry fiend there is, and it sounded like a great outdoor activity that we would never, ever have the chance to do in our parts.

Anja and Chris' 3-year-old daughter, Ella, was shy, but we were right when we predicted she'd be photogenic. She's going to be a big sister soon!

Riley employed the "one for me, one for the bucket" strategy of picking. They charge by the pound, and I was wondering if I'd have to pay for another pound just to compensate what was in his belly.

This is what happened when Kevin showed Riley some berries he plucked. Riley's move was unexpected, but not totally a surprise.
