Holden's last swim class of the session at the YMCA was devoted to boat safety. The teacher spoke of things like waves and helicopters being able to find them and pluck them out of the surf after their boat sinks. Nothing scary about that. These kids can't even swim yet, and they've already got dooms-day scenarios to play in their heads!
