Jessica and Bill got all married and stuff last weekend during one of the shortest and sweetest wedding ceremonies I've ever seen. Their vows were heartfelt and personal, and the wedding was made even more intimate because Bill's brother and Jessica's long-time friend Dayna officiated. We, unfortunately, didn't get to take too many pictures at the actual wedding because of the kid-factor. But to see how beautiful Jess looked, click on the hyper-link above! We asked Holden what his favorite part of the weekend was, and he said the wedding. When we asked why, he said: "Because the bride looked so pretty." He was right!

The wedding was at Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad. It was a cool (but hot!) place with lots and lots of peacocks.

After the wedding, there was no rest for the weary, and we hit the hotel pool. Holden's got lots of confidence in his swimming abilities these days, as long as he has two things to keep him afloat.

Bedtime in the single hotel room was a struggle, especially with Riley, who didn't want to go to sleep - despite skipping an afternoon nap and spending the day in the sun. Holden flopped a bit, but managed to tune out his brother's wailing and crash out pretty good. This is a rare peek of what Holden looks like holding still:

The next day, everyone went to the club house and park near Bill and Jessica's Encinitas home. The best part of the weekend for me was re-connecting with a ton of old camp friends and their kids. The brunch was relaxing and we got to get a bit more visiting in. This is Isaiah (Jeff and Gayle's youngest - about 18 months):

This is the camp group, including husbands and kids. Camp Akiba alums will pick out Mindy, Alexis, Gayle, Jeff, Dayna and, of course, Jess:
