1st Swim Lesson

Holden had his first swimming lesson at Begg Pool at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach. He has three more to go. As is Holden's way, he was quite trepidatious about the whole thing and could be heard whining, "out," for the first few minutes. He got out and, and after some cajoling from mom and dad and reminding about how much fun he had swimming the week before, he decided he wanted to "jump." After that, he had a good ol' time and did so great. The class is real cute, with them singing and the parents swishing the kids around to "Hokey Pokey" and "Motorboat" and other songs.
