Nothing Says "The Holidays" Like The Middle of February

Two months late, but worth the wait, was the annual Holiday Show at Daycare.
Blake (who Holden calls "Blankey"), wasn't in the show, but was there to lend support to big brother Grant.
Taylor was also on hand, and up past her bedtime, to see the big kids perform.
Miss Tondi introduced the kids in the Kwanzaa skit. I couldn't tell you a word they said, but they all delivered their complicated lines having to do with things like "socio-economic cooperative collaborations" without any prompting.
In the Kwanzaa skit, Holden said something having to do with plentiful bounty for the harvest. We think.

Miss Jazzmyn introduced the Hannukkah skit.
Holden was Judah Maccabee, who fought the evil Romans.
This was by far the highlight of the show for him. For months, he's been talking about being an "owyer" with a sword.

Then, Ms. Rhonda introduced the Christmas skit.
Here, Virgin Mary (played convincingly by Kyela) is visited by an angel, played by Katelyn.
Virgin Mary and Joseph, right after Joseph proposes.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then it's bada-bing, bada-boom ... baby in a carriage. Hello, Jesus.

Kyela gave a solo performance of "Silent Night" that brought down the house!
The show wrapped up with some traditional Christmas songs. Alicia, Kyela and Grant really got into it!
As always, Holden the Ham sang with gusto!

Denise and her girl. Everyday at drop-off and pick-up, this sweet girl offers up sweet hugs. It's such a contrast to the boys, who after a quick hug, are off running in circles.

Holden gets some praise post-show from Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Steve, who came to cheer him on, along with Grandma Bonnie.
