Fresh From the Farm

I've heard for a couple years about Tanaka Farms, but was never really sure it would be a worthwhile outing. I was wrong.

Nestled in the hills off the 405 Freeway in Irvine, the farm is a fun place for a wagon tour, produce picking and EATING! We went with the Messingers for a Strawberry Tour. Strawberries are the one fruit we all agree is a favorite, so it seemed like a good shot. We had no idea how fun it would be to ride around in a tractor-pulled wagon, sampling vegetables fresh from the ground and picking all the beautiful strawberries our bellies could handle.

Even Riley, who won't usually try anything, took a bite of everything. He spent most the ride holding tightly to a carrot and a green bean.
