Holiday Wrap

The holidays for The Nix Family were all about the LIGHTS! Riley was so very excited by all things glowing and sparkly, and Holden's fascination for the holiday lights and menorah is never-ending. But the twinkling around town didn't even compare to the way their faces lit up each night of Hannukkah and on Christmas as a barrage of presents big and small descended upon them.






We made our 3rd Annual mecca to Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo a couple nights before Christmas. Riley's pointer was on overdrive as he yelled "LIGHTS!" Holden got his first experience with snow on someone's front yard.

Christmas with Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Steve was festive, as always. The kids stayed in their jammies all day, and paced themselves in opening the presents. It was hard for Holden to open and move on - tempted as he was by all the new fun things to play with. Riley moved from toy to toy, perfecting his new Fish Face.
