We were very lucky to be included in Logan's 2nd birthday extravaganza! Logan is the oldest of Jodi and Roger. Jodi is the head DA of sex crimes at the Torrance Courthouse so, needless to say, our paths cross a lot and we've become good friends. Nothing like bonding over discussions of bodily parts.
Logan was a bit under the weather, but he persevered. Here's Logan with dad Roger:

The big surprise was the fire truck that came and took everyone for rides around the neighborhood:
Riley was a bit mommy-centric that day, but he was thrilled about the fire truck and still talks about it - a month later:

Riley and one little girl were at the end of the line and they were running out of water. The kids had no problem sharing, and they were so cute:
At one point, I noticed Roger had his hands full, so I volunteered to take a kiddo off his hands. Moments after this photo was taken, she fell asleep on me ... and I was officially in love:
