Swimmy, March 2006 - March 2007
Swimmy lived life as any fish should, lazily circling in his bowl, swishing his red and blue vibrant tail to go over there, then there, then there.... again and again. He gave us countless seconds of entertainment. Sadly, his passing has still gone unnoticed by his real owner. We would like to believe it's not so much that he doesn't care, as he can't really see the counter where Swimmy lived. We're wondering, though, when he'll notice, and have to admit we're glad to delay a difficult conversation.
A small memorial service was held in Swimmy's honor. The Kaddish was said as he was laid to rest in a porcelain casket for a watery burial.
